You know those categories of cars where it doesn’t matter one model you’re looking at, you still like it? Like is the Focus ST the best hot hatch you can buy? Probably not but I get happy every time I see one and I’m glad Ford makes them.
So here’s some car categories that I’d never kick out of bed.
Hot Hatchbacks
Compact Luxury Wagons
Executive sedans
And last but not least, true GT cars (roof optional)

4x4 pickup trucks. I love them. I want one. Especially if it’s a manual.

Hot hatches, sport compacts (nearly extinct), mid-size sedans/wagons.

Besides the ones you already mentioned:
Midsize hatchbacks and wagons, and also small 4-cylinder luxury cars. I also like non-expensive cars that can rev over 8000 rpm. And of course, oddballs.

Tall hatchbacks and kei cars.
Also an honourable mention to small passenger vans (or “LAVs” as European manufacturers seem to like to call them).

All the stars for you. I’d do bad things for a 944 that clean

Rwd hot hatches!
I’m still waiting for that segment to take off

It just seems like an underrepresented bodystyle in 2018. I want a 2+2 hatchback sportscar with T tops plz.

I’m a big fan of Group B homogation cars if you are looking for a particular. Other than that, Sports Sedans are fun.

Throw Hot Hatchback and Executive Sedan in a blender.
What I really want right now is a BMW 2-series Gran Coupe or Cadillac CT4 Escala liftback, small turbo engine, rear wheel drive and a manual transmission.
Something like this:

Convertibles. Especially GT convertibles.

Supercar
and Ultracar.

Holy shit, I didn’t know I wanted to see that but now I really want one!

I knew that I forgot a category! Yeah, big fan of 4x4 trucks!

I like wagons with compressors and rear wheel drive
I don’t care if it’s a supercharged jaguar xf or a tri- turbo bmw 550d

I do love me some warm/hot/hyper hatch... super functional and buckets of fun.

Most of my favorites exist in the class of “Didn’t Graduate to Production”
I’ll believe the last one when I can drive it, operate the clutch, and shift the gears. Until then, it’s a broken promise.

What about a LegendaryCar?
Legendary as in existing only in legend, imagination, wishful thinking?
If Porsche can make the 918 then why can’t Toyota do a humble Supra?

Yes, also a BMW RS3 competitor, but RWD and with a liftback... oh and a manual trans.

A-Mod, probably.

Agreed on hot hatches (esp. because I’m probably going to end up driving them as long as my chosen career requires lugging around bulky audio equipment). Fast wagons too, being kind of the grown-up cousin of the hot hatch. Also, affordable sports cars. Love me a BRZ or Miata.
